- Payment for the event means you agree to all terms in this agreement.
- The renter agrees to a Rental Fee of $_____ plus a security deposit of $150.00. Reservations made online will charge the damage deposit after the event if necessary. Damage is considered but not limited to unreturned keys, garbage left behind, any damage or cleaning necessary to walls, cabinets, floors, etc, as well as disturbances to neighbors of the clubhouse (Excessive noise, inside or outside).
- Rental reservations may be cancelled up to 14 days before the scheduled event for a full refund including any collected damage deposit.
- Rental reservations canceled within 14 days of the event date forfeit the entire rental amount. The Security Deposit will be returned or not charged.
- All activities must end by 10:00pm and the hall must be cleared out by 11:00pm. The clubhouse is located in a residential area. We cannot allow activities that disrupt neighborhood tranquility.
- NO FOR-PROFIT EVENTS ARE ALLOWED.
- The renter agrees to abide by the clubhouse rules and regulations as set forth in any information sheet accompanying this contract and posted in the building.
- The renter assumes responsibility for the use of the clubhouse and agrees to clean up or replace any and all damage to the clubhouse, its facilities and surrounding property. The Security Deposit will be returned within 14 days, if the Rental Manager determines if the condition is satisfactory. If the condition of the building and its surroundings are not left in their original condition, the Renter authorizes the club to clean and repair or replace loss or damage at the expense of the Renter.
- The Renter agrees to monitor and control actions of the guests and hold the North Hill Community Club harmless for loss or damage of personal property or injury of guests resulting from activities of the event. Event activities are limited to inside the clubhouse. Noisy and rowdy activities of groups congregating outside of the building must not happen. Des Moines Police patrol the neighborhood and respond to citizen complaints. Please cooperate with any complaint from officers who are concerned with disturbances in our residential area.
- No alcohol may be consumed in the clubhouse unless the Renter obtains and posts all necessary permits such as a Washington State Liquor Board Banquet Permit.
(The sale, service and consumption of alcoholic beverages are subject to Washington State Liquor Control Board (WSLCB) regulations, licensing and permit requirements. Special Occasion licenses are issued only to non-profit societies or organizations holding a special event at which spirits, beer or wine is sold by the drink. . Non profit organizations must apply for a Special Occasion License 45 days prior to the event. Your event may require a different type of permit. Please visit the WSLCB website, www.liq.wa.gov for additional information.) - $50 will be charged for each unreturned key.
- RENTER MUST REMOVE YOU’RE OWN GARBAGE from the premises, no dumpster provided.
